GILEAD SCIENCES MEXICO, S. DE R.L. DE C.V., ("GILEAD" or "we"), with address at Insurgentes Sur 1431, 9th floor, Insurgentes Mixcoac, C.P. 03920, Mexico City, is responsible for the processing and protection of your personal data, in this regard we inform you the following:
 

What personal information do we collect?

We may automatically collect the following personal data: i) information from your device; ii) information from your browser; and iii) IP address.
 

For what purposes will we use your personal data?

The primary purposes for which GILEAD may process your personal data are: i) to provide you with a better user experience when browsing our site, and ii) to learn information about your visit to our site. GILEAD will not process your personal data for secondary purposes.
 

Do we share your personal data?

We inform you that GILEAD will not transfer your personal information to third parties; except in the cases provided for applicable regulations we may transfer your personal data to administrative, judicial or governmental authorities of any kind, in Mexico or abroad, provided that this is established by judicial or administrative mandate or that a law so determines.
 

How can you exercise your ARCO rights?

You have the right to know what personal data we have about you, what we use them for and the conditions of use we give them (Access). Likewise, it is your right to request the correction of your personal information in case it is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete (Rectification); to have it removed from our records or databases (Cancellation); as well as to oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition). These rights are known as ARCO rights.

To exercise any of the ARCO rights, you must submit a request addressed to our Data Protection Department, to the following e-mail addresses: sonia.rubio@gilead.com and/or ricardo.valdez@gilead.com where we will inform you of the procedure for the exercise of such rights.

GILEAD's response will indicate whether the request for access, rectification, cancellation or opposition is appropriate and, if so, GILEAD will make the determination effective within 15 working days from the date on which it communicates the response to the owner of the personal data or his representative, if any. The deadlines may be extended under the terms set forth in the Law. GILEAD will provide digital documents in case you exercise your right of access.
